About my Images

I am watercolor artist. I have veered from traditional painting using brushes, paper and paint to using the computer. My tools now are digital brushes, software, and a digital tablet.

I am now able to paint more of what I see in my mind's eye and enjoy the instant gratification.
I hope you enjoy this site.

Somewhere in Time

This melancholy image was taken while on a road trip in St. Marys in Georgia. My wife was sleeping in and I decided to go on a photo expedition on foot. I ended up in a cemetery... Some of my really good photos have been taken in cemeteries. This bush was loaded with flowers, in between grave stones, but what caught my eye was what had fallen on the ground. The symbolism in what I was seeing and where I was kinda struck me.... Yin-Yang.
It is a symbol that reflects the inescapably intertwined duality of all things in nature.
(Not my words, but what I felt)
